I found Tavi’s story in a Harper’s Bazaar Magazine last fall. It will be fun to see where she lands ten years from now. What a creative soul. Pulled from Wikipedia... Tavi Gevinson is an American fashion blogger. She began her blog on March 31, 2008 as a 11-year-old. Initially, her parents did not completely know what Tavi was doing until she asked for their permission to appear in an issue of New York Times magazine story. Since then, she has had as many as 50,000 readers. Bloggers like Tavi have been referred to as the "frontline of fashion". She has also become a regular guest at fashion shows and a muse for designers in Tokyo. She is also partly inspiration for Rodarte's line at Target. All of this from a little blog called style rookie. Amazing.

I’m not a vegetarian, but the local vegan bakery Pattycake is to die for! I’ll take a chocolate whoopie pie please!!! Will my trainer accept the vegan treats, or will he forbid them like every other sugary treat? Hmmmm... p.s. many thanks to our friend Melody for turning us on to the local bakery!

Seeing the American Idol ice cream this weekend reminded me of an Ad Age Podcast I listened to last January. Interesting segment about the insane revenue and licensing that make up the monster show. Hopefully the copywriter was paid well, I’m liking the spunky flavor names.

Cool project from Worldwide Fido!

Thanks to Dave’s experience in mold making & casting, Jamison Design was able to snag a fun project from the cool kids at Worldwide Fido. As a client, we’ve helped them with brand development, collateral and web design, along with product creation. We designed and produced their signature crown dog bowl, a coveted prize awarded monthly for best video entry.
